DONATIONS AND CONTRIBUTIONS
The First Tee of Fort Worth relies on individuals and organizations, both locally and on the national level, for funding to make the program successful and accessible to young people in The Fort Worth area. Donations & contributions can be made to The First Tee of Fort Worth in the following ways:
- Operating fund donations through our Annual Fund Drive. Operating funds are used for expenses related to the development and implementation of our curriculum through our Life Skills Classes, Community Outreach TARGET programs, camps, clinics and competitive opportunities for our participants.
- Capital Fund pledges and donations for our Capital Campaign currently underway to develop The Teaching Facility and Learning Center at Rockwood Park. When completed, the Teaching Facility will be complete with a driving range, practice putting and chipping greens, wedge game area and a 3 hole practice course. The Learning Center, which will be constructed adjacent to the current Rockwood clubhouse, will include classroom space, indoor instructional areas, offices, storage and a club repair room.
- Donations of equipment that include golf clubs, both junior and adult, golf balls, shoes, shirts, or any other accessory or material that might benefit a The First Tee participant. Feel free to request a pick-up of donated equipment if necessary.
- Donations of services or other in-kind gifts such as office supplies, snacks and drinks, or any other item that may benefit The First Tee.
